  • Hosts: Individuals or businesses who sign up for a KoruStay account to create and manage Digital Guest Guides.

  • Advertisers: Businesses who provide information to be featured in the Local Guide sections.

  • Partners: Third-party businesses collaborating with KoruStay to provide offers or integrations.

1. Information you provide directly to us

  • For Hosts: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and account password. To provide the service, we also collect all the content you submit for your guide (“Host Content”), which may include property details, contact information, and images. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details; this is handled securely by our payment processor, Stripe.

  • For Advertisers & Partners: We collect your business name, contact details, and any promotional or integration material you provide.

  • When you contact us: We will store your email address and the contents of any communication you send to us.

2. Information we collect automatically

  • For all Users: When you use our website or a Digital Guest Guide, we may collect information such as your IP address, device type, browser information, and how you interact with our service. This is collected through standard server logs and analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

KoruStay may use the information collected from you for the following purposes:

  1. To provide, maintain, and improve our core service.

  2. To create and host your Digital Guest Guide using the Host Content you provide.

  3. To process your subscription payments and manage your Host account.

  4. To facilitate Partner Integrations (e.g., verifying your membership with a partner organization like Bookably to unlock specific features).

  5. To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.

  6. To inform you of new features, services, and offers from KoruStay (you may opt-out of these communications at any time).

Any information we collect will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.

Who We Share Your Information With

  • Stripe: Our payment gateway, which securely processes all subscription payments.

  • Strategic Partners (e.g., Bookably, Internet Providers): We may share your information with specific Partners only when you explicitly request to redeem a partner offer or utilize a partner integration.
