Is the "Guide" plan really free forever?
Yes. The KoruStay Guide plan is completely free, forever. It includes all the essentials: the Digital Guide, House Rules, Smart Directions, and KoruLock™ security. You only pay if you want the advanced automation, AI features, revenue tools, or white-label branding.
What are the payment options for Premium plans?
We offer flexible billing to suit your business. You can subscribe Monthly (pay-as-you-go) or Yearly (get 3 months free / 25% off). All premium plans include the same advanced features; you simply choose the payment schedule that works best for you.
Do my guests need to download an app?
No! This is a massive advantage of KoruStay. Your guide is a "Progressive Web App" (PWA). Guests simply click a link (or scan a QR code) and it opens instantly in their browser. No downloads, no passwords, no friction. It works perfectly on iPhone, Android, Tablet, and Desktop.
How does Pio (AI) know the answers to my specific questions?
Pio is powered by our proprietary "RAG" (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine. When you fill out your property form (WiFi, Check-in, Rules), our system indexes that data into a secure knowledge base. When a guest asks a question, Pio reads your specific guide instantly to provide the correct, context-aware answer.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Important: Do not simply "cancel" your account, or you risk losing access entirely. Instead, you must downgrade to the free "Guide" plan inside your dashboard before your billing period ends. By downgrading, your guide stays live and your guests retain access to essentials like House Rules and Directions. You simply lose access to the premium features (AI, Upsells, Branding) until you reactivate.
What exactly does "White Label" remove?
The White Label plans are designed for property managers and boutique brands. It removes all "Powered by KoruStay" branding, the KoruStay footer logo, and our standard colour palette. You replace them with your own Logo and Hex Colours, and even map your own custom domain (e.g., guide.yourvilla.com).
Is my property data secure?
Absolutely. We use KoruLock™ technology to protect sensitive data like WiFi passwords, Lockbox codes, and Alarm PINs. This data is encrypted and hidden from the public view until the guest enters the unique PIN you provide them. Even our AI cannot read these secrets unless the PIN is verified. We recommend updating your PIN regularly between stays.
What does KoruStay charge for extras in the guide?
On The KoruStay Way (guests pay in the guide after you approve), the platform fee is 4.5% on Guide and Concierge, and 1.5% on Pro, White Label, and Agency — GST-inclusive. The same percentage applies at every price: no high-value band and no dollar minimum. Stripe card processing is extra on your Stripe. Direct Request is email-only with no KoruStay fee (you collect payment yourself). 0% is the External Booking Link on Pro, White Label Pro, and Agency WL Pro — not KoruStay Checkout.
Can I use my Guide to get Direct Bookings?
Yes. On Pro and White Label plans, you unlock Direct Booking Links. You can link your guide's "Book Now" button to your own website or booking engine. This allows you to capture repeat guests without paying commission to Airbnb, Booking.com, and other booking sites.
What is included in the "Strategy Call" (Pro Plans)?
For Pro and White Label users, we don't just give you the software; we help you build the strategy. This 1-on-1 video call is designed to help you set up Direct Booking links, configure your Upsells for maximum conversion, and ensure your Guide is optimised to drive revenue from day one.
