Safety Rules

Staying in the alpine wilderness is a magical experience, but to protect the local environment and our community, it requires strict adherence to the following guidelines.

  1. Wildlife Protocol (CRITICAL): We are in active bear country. ALL trash must be placed inside the metal bear-proof bins at the end of the driveway. Ensure the carabiner is clipped shut.
  2. Quiet Hours: Sound travels across the lake. Strictly no outdoor music or hot tub use after 10:00 PM.
  3. Fire Safety: Absolutely no outdoor fires or charcoal grills outside of the designated fire pit area.

The hot tub is pre-set to 102°F. To turn on the jets, press the ‘Boost’ button once. Please ensure the heavy insulated cover is clipped back on after use to retain heat.

The cabin is at 6,200ft. The Nest thermostat is located in the main hallway. Please do not set the heat above 74°F as it can strain the system in winter.

During winter months, please park as close to the garage door as possible so the county snow plows can clear the road safely.

You’ll find a drip coffee maker, a French press, and complimentary local beans in the kitchen pantry.
