Helpful Appliance Tips:

• • Fast Boiling: Use the portable induction plate when you need to boil water quickly.

  • Dishwasher: To start a cycle, press and hold the start button for a few seconds.

  • Specialty Appliances: Make the most of the combination microwave, blender, ice cream maker, popcorn maker, and sandwich press!

Care Instructions (Handwash Only): Please gently handwash the Japanese carving knives and wooden chopping boards to keep them in excellent condition.

BBQ Cleaning: To keep the outdoor BBQ in great shape for the next guest, please clean it after use.

• • The Best Method: It is much easier to clean the BBQ while it is still warm (but not blazing hot). Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly, then use the provided metal fibre brush to scrub the grates while they are still warm.

Supplies: Additional cleaning supplies are located under the kitchen sink.

To help you stay productive during your stay, we have set up two ergonomic workstations equipped with fully height-adjustable business monitors and ready-to-use cables. You can find our dedicated workspaces in the following locations: Office Nook: Features a 24″ monitor with an HDMI cable. Single Bedroom: Features a 27″ monitor with both HDMI and DisplayPort cables. Please remember to bring your own USB-C hub or adapter if your laptop requires one to connect to these displays.

If you are looking for culinary inspiration during your stay, you can check out the Menu Ring binder located on the bottom shelf of the cocktail station. Inside the binder, you will find helpful grilling guides, precise rice cooker measurements, and a variety of tasty recipes. Please note that the main oven runs a bit hot, so we recommend reducing the temperature by 15–20 degrees and keeping a close eye on your cooking!

Satisfy your sweet tooth by whipping up a delicious homemade batch of ice cream using our machine with these simple steps: Freeze: Ensure the freezer bowl has been in the freezer for at least 12 hours. Prepare: Chill your recipe mixture, finding tasty ideas in the Menu Ring binder at the cocktail station. Assemble: Place the frozen bowl on the base, insert the paddle, and lock the lid clockwise. Churn: Turn the machine on, pour in your chilled mixture through the spout, and churn for 15-20 minutes until smooth and firm. Once ready, simply transfer your creation to an airtight container to enjoy immediately or pop it in the freezer a bit longer for extra firmness!

Towels & Linen: Professional hired and cleaned linen are provided.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please don’t wash any of original linen provided. Our contract with Laundry provider means they can only clean these. Extra Linen: If you need extra sheets or towels for a particular bed, you will find them stored in the closet of that specific bedroom. Iron & Ironing Board: You’ll find these in the single bedroom closet. Vacuum Cleaner: The vacuum is also stored in the linen cupboard should you need it during your stay. Laundry: If you do need to do any washing. Liquid Laundromat is just a walk walk down the hill. See the link for details.

To help you relax and unwind during your stay, you can find our aroma scent oils and burners conveniently located at the top of the pantry. To use them, simply add a little water to the top bowl of the burner, mix in just 1-2 drops of your preferred oil, and light the tea light candle below using the provided rechargeable lighter. We offer a variety of oils tailored to different moods, including special blends that even act as a natural insect repellent!

To help you make the most of your outdoor and evening explorations around our property, we have thoughtfully equipped your stay with essential gear. Here is what you have available to use during your stay: Beach & Picnic Gear: Located next to the cocktail station, including a beach picnic backpack, soft lounger cushions, beach bags, and a sun tent. Night Explores: Headlights stored in the bottom kitchen drawer beneath the cutlery drawer, perfect for evening beach walks or use during a power cut.

If you need to print boarding passes or travel documents during your stay, you are welcome to use our printer. To print your documents, please follow these quick steps: Make sure your device is connected to the property Wi-Fi. Check that the printer has been turned on for at least a minute. Select Canon TS3300 from your device’s print menu and send your document.

Here is a quick guide to keeping the home warm and comfortable during your stay using our automated features:

Lounge Heat Pump (Heating and Air Conditioning): Runs daily from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM for air circulation and filtering. You can easily turn it off using the remote if preferred.

Bedroom Heater: The main bedroom heater automation is active exclusively during the winter months. Keeps room pleasant temperature during the night and turns off around 8.30am.

To ensure your stay remains comfortable and pest-free, you will find several pest control lights plugged in around the house, offering a safe and chemical-free deterrent against rodents and bugs. For your convenience, please ensure that these devices remain plugged in and turned on for the entire duration of your stay. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a pleasant environment!

To help keep our property tidy and green, please place all general waste in the pantry bin, and use the dedicated recycling bin located by the deck stairs near the clothesline for glass, plastic bottles, and cans. Please note: There is no need to worry about collection day logistics; our cleaner will take care of putting the bins out for you!

Our grounds feature a vibrant selection of seasonal fruit trees and a thriving vegetable patch filled with fresh herbs for you to enjoy during your stay. You are warmly invited to harvest our fresh produce to enhance your meals. We simply ask that you pick mindfully so there is always plenty left to delight future guests. Please enjoy.

Your privacy, safety, and peace of mind are our top priorities during your stay with us, and we ask that you keep a few important security guidelines in mind. Please note the following property details: Security Cameras: Cameras monitor only the driveway, parking spaces, and lockbox areas. All recreational spaces—including the deck and spa—are completely private and unmonitored. Reference photos of camera locations are available in your onsite guide.

Garage Access: The internal garage door is locked and alarmed for your safety, and guests are kindly asked not to attempt to enter this area.

If you are looking for a hair dryer during your stay, you can easily find it located right inside the bathroom drawers.

Our property features a wonderfully steep driveway that delivers breathtaking views from the top, though it does require a bit of a climb to get there. To ensure a smooth arrival, please keep these quick tips in mind: Take extra care when walking with children or elderly guests. Don’t worry if it feels challenging at first—most guests find it gets much easier the longer they stay!
